Recipe Index

1: This isn't in strict alphabetical order, because that kind of thing doesn't bother me much. The sub-categories are also a bit erratic. Not reproduced here, but important and able to be found on my blog itself under "tags" in the right-hand side column, are recipes that fall into the categories of Breakfast, Christmas, Dairy-free, Puddings, Fruit, Sauces, and Nigella.

2: A * indicates where I've invented a recipe or made a significant variation on an existing one.

3: In the interest of furthering the use of recipes I've documented here, and also just for the fun of it, if you scroll down to the bottom of this recipe index you'll see I've come up with a few menu ideas.

4: This really needs updating, but I haven't had time. However there's a Search function on the sidebar of the homepage which should find you anything you need to know.

Finally: Banana Cake with Golden Syrup Icing and Mango Sauce

2: Help! My meat-eating friend's coming for dinner!

Start: Maple Walnut Bread and dips/oils/some form of cheese
Then: Slow Roasted Garlic and Lemon Chicken OR Pepper-crusted Tuna with Soba Noodles and Peanut Sauce
Finally: Billy Crudup's Grandma's Chocolate Fudge Pie with cream

Serve a selection of the following; in the order you choose or all at once.

American Pancakes
Vegan Banana Bread
Baked Eggs with Yoghurt and Chilli
Norwegian Cinnamon Buns
Porridge With Pedro Ximinez (or whatever) Sultanas
Bacon Jam

4: Help! I have to feed a lot of children at a party-type situation and I don't want them to judge me!

First:

Nigella's Buns
with: Martin Bosley's Pork Belly (maybe without the chilli)

Then:

Coca Cola Chocolate Cake and Gingerbread Cut-Out Cookies or Lolly Cake or Rice Bubble Cake OR, if you don't have to look after them beyond this point: Radiokaka/Radio Cake

5: Promising dinner for two

First: Sexy Pasta OR Lemony Prawn Salad with Feta Bread
Then...where to start. I'd suggest, depending on season; either Billy Crudup's Grandma's Chocolate Fudge PieInstant Blackberry Coconut Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce; or Cocoa Sorbet
